We’ve been tinkering with this to generate the Challenge Levels for our Second Edition monsters. Now, we’re releasing it to the public so you can play with it too!
Please note a couple changes.
- First, monsters now have full Attributes. Use these instead of the CL for monster ability checks.
- Second, Appearance has become Presence. All Talents that previously referenced Appearance now work off of Presence.
Elite and Boss monsters require a little bit of prep by the GM. Elite monsters have a single Talent from the Talent Pools chapter. Boss monsters have an entire Advanced Talent Pool. There are a couple other fun things about these two types of advanced monster, but we’re tweaking those yet in playtesting.
