Kantcon Wrap up

Well, we made it safe and sound back from Kantcon in Overland Park, Kansas! This was our fourth time down there, and we’re looking forward to being back next year. We’ll update you with the date, but in the mean time, we advise that you like and follow them on Facebook to make sure you can plan accordingly.

Allen and Kevin ran a total of 7 adventures. We had to leave early on Sunday, which always makes us sad, but life-away-from-Con called and we needed to get on the road. The games we ran were all full tables, and some had to turn people away. It’s always great to have that feeling at a convention, but it’s always sad to have to tell people there’s no room at the table.

We ran Adventure in a Con, The Sundered Temple, Camp Wicakini 1 and 2, A Thule and His Money, Milecastle 42, and Schroedinger’s Box. We only had one game that didn’t fire because the players over-booked themselves, and we can’t fault them for that; there was a ton of great games at the convention.

The real adventure started on the way back. We had severe storms we were flirting with the whole way home. We had some car issues that were the result of Kevin’s car battery having a terminal that stripped out. We got that jimmied together and back on the road. Yuki, Domo, and Allen were dropped off in Omaha, and Yuki’s car wouldn’t start. They got that going and all finally made it home safely.

We’re all in post-Con mode, so we hope to have some really exciting news for you very soon!

We won’t be in post-Con mode for long, we’re getting ready for Tacticon in Denver over Labor Day Weekend!
