Projects in Progress for August 2018

The last four weeks were productive for SGG. Kevin is making progress on updating the mechanics of the spells in Æthermancy. He’s also taken to a new habit – dictating ideas and text for new products while driving. Since he drives for over six hours most weekdays, that’s a substantial amount of new content being generated.

Meanwhile, Ben has developed a new system for manuscript work. Yesterday, he put into place a prototype, using Ingenium Second Edition as the guinea pig. It uses Git as the backbone. The technical details aside, it means that playtest copies of Ingenium Second Edition can now be automatically generated from the manuscript every time it changes.

We’re also kicking around the idea of developing a new modern horror game based on the fifth edition of a certain popular role-playing game. We’ll see where that goes.
